We bid farewell to Mazie Marie Richardson of Charleston, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Mazie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Caludis Spencer and Delcie Spencer; her husband Hansford Richardson; and her brothers, Basil Spencer, Dewy Spencer and Freddy Spencer.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Richardson (Necy) of Sissonville, Gary Richardson (Laura) of Charleston, Lee Richardson (Linda) of Charleston, Dell Taylor (Willard) of Elkview and Ronda Willard; and her brothers, Jerry Spencer (Patty) of Charleston and Joe Spencer (Peggy) of Charleston. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home (1325 W Washington St, Charleston, WV 25302). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
