It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Stone Dollison (Charleston, West Virginia), who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Nancy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emogene Stone and John Stone of Charleston; and her sister Teresa Thomas of Charleston. She is survived by: her daughters, Lia Dollison and Emma Dollison (Chud Dollison); her sister Laura Wehrle; and her close friend Chubby. She is also survived by Her girls will miss their best friend.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Episcopal Church (36 Norwood Rd, Charleston, WV 25314).
In honor of Nancy's courageous battle with cancer, Nancy's family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the West Virginia University Cancer Institute.
