She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stone and Kathlene Kegley Stone; her husbands, Ed Thomas and Charles K. Payne III; and her daughter Kelly Byers.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Gentry of Charleston; her brother David Stone (Melinda) of Charleston; her grandchildren, Jessica Gentry, Matthew Gentry (Michelle) and Savanna Byers; and her great grandchildren, Mason of Charleston, Madison of Charleston, Myah Gentry of Charleston and Grason Kelly of Charleston.
