She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Pratt Blue and William Frederick Blue; her husband L. Newton Thomas, Jr.; her brother Fred Blue; and her son L. Newton Thomas, III.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Foster (Mike), Katharine Harbison (Will), Nancy Keshian (Rich) and Addison Thomas (Nancy). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
