He was predeceased by: his parents, E. L. Williamson and Beulah Williamson of Kentucky; his brothers, Harold and Lexford; his sisters-in-law, Ethyl Williamson and Mary Ruth Williamson; and his cousins, Ina Bogar and Deloris Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Helen; and his sons, Lexford (Patricia), Mark (Fonda) and Chet Williamson.
