We bid farewell to Paul Lawrence Woods Jr. of Charleston, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 14, 2025 at the age of 70. Paul touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Paul is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Paul's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woods and Lilly Mae Woods (Phillips) of Charleston. He is survived by: his wife Jayne Woods (Davis); his sons, Paul R. Woods of Charleston and Will Stevens (Sabrina) of Catlettsburg, KY; and his grandchildren, Cochise and Ziva. He is also survived by four cats.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Father's House Missionary Baptist Church (500 29th St W, Charleston, WV 25387).
