He was predeceased by: his parents, Delthia Irene Ranson and Glen Wilson Ranson; and his siblings, William "Bill" Ranson and Barbara Pringle. He is survived by: his wife Edith Smith Ranson; his daughter Pamela Ranson Moss (Stephen Kelly Moss); his grandchildren, MacKenzie Layne Moss and Stephen Tyler Moss (Erin Burks Moss); and his daughter Angel Anderson (Brad).
