He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl R. Cochran and Emily Morton Cochran; and his siblings, Carl W. Cochran, Jane LeBlanc, Brenda Hayson, Alice Horan and Dorothy Blount.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wright Cochran; his sister-in-law Sheila McLemore (Don) of Avon Lake, Ohio; and his daughter Jess Conner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
