She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Farris and Lucy Clark Adams; her husband Otis Stiwinter; and her siblings, Charlotte Dowdy and Chester Latimer Adams.
She is survived by: her sisters, Joyce Bradshaw and Aralia Rock (Joe); her daughters, Dr. Lucy Kara Shamblin (Mansford) and Katrina Beth Reed (Steven); her stepdaughters, Martha Walker (Owen) and Kathy Mills; her granddaughters, Abigail Watkins (Travis), Delana Reed and Sarah Reed; her stepgranddaughter Amber Munroe (Timothy); and her pets, Bart and Charlie. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery (130 Academy Dr, Dunbar, WV 25064).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the ASPCA or a local animal shelter.
