She is survived by: her husband Donald Byrd; her sons, Eric Lawson of Walton, Johnnie Lawson of Barboursville and Ronnie Lawson-Vest of Charleston; her grandchild Casey Lawson of Walton; her brothers, Ted Payne of Clio and Fred Payne of Clendinin; Bruce Issacs and Charles Vest. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
