She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Alkire and Pauline Alkire; and her daughter Christina Fisher. She is survived by : her husband Richard Kerns; her children, Mike, Lori Sigmon of Florida, John, Misti Sigmon of St. Albans and Richard "Rick" Kerns; her grandchildren, Timothy, Sarah, Shian, Katee, Jarrett, Jacob, Jaycee, Kathryn, Emily, Kai, Jasmine, Summer, Mary-Anne and Tyler; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Paisley, Preston and Kade.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Mountaineer Building (5233 Rocky Fork Rd, Cross Lanes, WV 25313).
