He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Underwood and Bernice Underwood (Patton); and his siblings, Jeanetta "Pat" Harper, Clayton Underwood, Faye Harper, Robert Underwood and Phyllis Seabolt.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Underwood; his children, Lisa Underwood and Mark Underwood; his daughter-in-law Ginger Underwood; his grandchildren, Samantha and Isaac Underwood; and his sister Maraella Lee Copen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Transportation Fund or the West Virginia State Parks Foundation.
