He is survived by: his children, Timothy Eric of Sissonville, Travis Carrol of Cross Lanes, Taylor Rochelle of Rocky Mount, VA and Tori Rene' of Morgantown; his mother Sharon Garnes; his brother Jeff Garnes; and his grandchildren, Desera, Mathew, Emma, Mason, Madelyn and Lilly.

Tim stated that flowers too die and had asked that any donation toward veterans' causes would be greatly appreciated so they may live in peace.
