With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vincent Butts of Charleston, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Vincent may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vincent touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Butts and Lewis Butts; and his siblings, Wesley, Roger, David Butts, Betty Moore and Peggy Wheeler.
He is survived by: his children, Kita Jones of St. Albans, Melissa Burdette of Missouri, Vincent Butts Jr. of Rand, WV and Earl Butts of Rand, WV; his siblings, Ivan Butts (Sandy) of Charleston and Carolyn; and his nephew Mutt Wheeler (Joann). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
