It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Birurakis (Charleston, West Virginia), born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on June 25, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joann; his son William II; his siblings, George, Alex and Angie; and his daughters-in-law, Beverly and Marnie.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Cindy), Gregory (Jaqueline) and Stephen; his daughter-in-law Saundra; his brother Louis; and his grandchildren, Leah, William III, Evia, Alex, Maria and Jacob.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Greek Orthodox Church (3512 MacCorkle Ave SE, Charleston, WV 25304). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
