She is survived by: her husband Larry Maynard of Chauncey, WV; her son Chris Maynard (Martha) of Forest, VA; and her grandsons, Christopher Maynard II, Matthew Maynard and Andrew Maynard.

Since I was Indian and not christian, I was constantly picked on when I was in elementary school and always getting into fights. She was one of the few teachers that understood the challenges I had growing up in Logan.
