He was predeceased by: his father Anderson D. Evans Sr.; his former wife Sylvia "Jeanie" Evans; his wife Myrtle Nisnick Evans; his son Mitchell "Nick" Evans; and his siblings, David, Roger Evans and Mary Elizabeth Evans.
He is survived by: his son Matthew Evans (Sarah); his granddaughters, Amanda Landfried (Jeremie), Heather Kirby (Roosevelt) and Amber Quarterman (Shawn); and his brother Harvey "Ted" Evans (Nancy). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
