He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Fuhrer and Dorothy Jane Mathews Fuhrer; and his niece Kelley Lynn Fuhrer. He is survived by: his sons, Mitchell Fuhrer of Cuyahoga Falls and Elliott Fuhrer of Akron; his brother Phil Fuhrer (Diane) of Fuquay-Varina; his nephew Scott Fuhrer of Lisbon; and his nieces, Ashley McNeil (Will) of Denver and Mary Jane Karp (Brett) of Washington, DC..
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 W Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
