He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Shaw Sr. and Lulu Knight Shaw; and his siblings, David Shaw and Alice Stivason. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Belich; his children, Todd Shaw, Mark Shaw (Renata), Heather Almasy (Ted) and Mendy Shaw (David McElhaney); his grandchildren, Erika Paris (Kyle McCreary), Nicholas Paris, Nathaniel Paris, Halie Almasy, Sara Almasy and Ryan Shaw; his great grandchild Aliza Dawn McCreary; his sister Bonnie Parsons; and his brother-in-law George Belich (Caryl).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at the Millcreek Hill Cemetery.
