Flossie Bland Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Flossie Bland (Chester, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Richmond and Erma Levina Cecil Richmond; her husband Clarence "Bud" Bland; her siblings, Thomas Richmond and Vera Louise Smith; and her close friend Errett Allison.
She is survived by: her children, Michael T. Bland (Pamela) of Monroe, Jeffrey L. Bland of Chester and Susan L. Derda (John) of Indian Trail; and her brother William Henry Richmond (Destee). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
