He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Virden and Carol Virden; and his sister Judy Webb. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Quinn Virden; his children, Becky (John), Jennifer Virden, James Virden (Amy) and Bradley Virden (Sarah); his grandchildren, Shelby Ghrist, Elizabeth Smith (Aaron), Alexis Sell, Brooklyn Perry, Kurtis Virden, Jonathan Virden and Shea Shipman; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Ghrist, Rylee Miller, Ryan Ghrist and Sophie Smith; his siblings, Dale (Cindie), Ross (Melinda), Mark (Denise), Carl Virden (Karen), Margie and Edith Virden; his uncle Dave; his aunt Alice; and his sisters-in-law, Marianne Wells and Susan Kupelian (Rick). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034).
