He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Starkey and Vena Ward Starkey; his siblings, Katherine Guise, Elizabeth Fryman, Charles, Leroy, Walt and Jack Starkey; and his son-in-law William Phenicie.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Boyd Starkey; his sister Jana Lawrence; his grandchildren, Monica Plunkett (Andy), Andrew Starkey (Samantha), Mallory Oliver (Dillon) and Jarod Starkey; and his great grandchildren, Jaydenn, Sami Powell, Kamdyn Oliver, Isiah, Sadie Plunkett, Collin, Aaden Ring of Andrew, Drayke, Henna and Damon Starkey.
