He was predeceased by: his parents, John Knirsch and Marie Poling Knirsch. He is survived by: his wife Velma Jean Williamson Knirsch; and his children, Charles Knirsch (Pam) of New Cumberland and Carol Haymond of Hookstown. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
