He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McGaffic and Josephine McGaffic (Koerber); his daughter Debbie McGaffic; his siblings, Leonard "Sunny" McGaffic, Duane "Ike" McGaffic, James McGaffic, Dorthy Coward, Patricia Barnett, Velma Speer and Georganne Minton; and his grandson Erik McGaffic.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Greg McGaffic (Steph Lopata) and Bob McGaffic (Anna Lybert); his sister Judy Jarrard (Gary); and his grandchildren, Myka McGaffic (Macie Reckner), Jennifer Plumby (Mark), Mykelti Schmalstieg (Justin) and Connor McGaffic (Josh Charles).
