He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Maxwell and Audra Brammer Maxwell; his son Thomas Maxwell; and his brother Robert Lee Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Frances Kerns Maxwell; his children, Renee Arner (Pete), Marie Maxwell and Dar McClester (Jason Myers); his brother Gary Maxwell (Maryann); and his children, Joie Szuch, Sophia and Ethan Arner.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
