She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Strother and Justina Cool Strother; and her significant other Colin Lee Forinash. She is survived by: her sister Barbara F. Sims; her nieces and nephews, Shannon Langford and Dorsey Shreve, III; and her stepgrandchildren, Chase Eagle and Anna-Eileen Forinash. She is also survived by cousins, great-nephews, a great-niece.
