He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jackson and Leona Love Jackson; his wife Cecelia Jackson; his stepmother Hazel Jackson; his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Jackson, Judy Sue and Kimberly Orduna; and his brother-in-law Stanley Allman.
He is survived by: his son Melvin Jackson (Anna Marie); his siblings, Tom Redmon (Dea Raye) and Cheryl Allman; his granddaughter Lakesha; his great grandchild Kailey; and his nephews, Robert Allman (Kim) and Michael Allman (Natalie). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Halcyon Hills Memorial Garden (4987 Fairmont Pike Rd, Wheeling, WV 26003).
