It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Lee Davisson Sr. of Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Davisson and Bernadine Benett Davisson; his sons, Dwight Lee Davisson Jr. and Russell Lee Davisson; his grandchildren, Katelynn Davisson and Breanna Davisson; and his siblings, Lucille Harris, Warden "Buck" Davisson and Steve Davisson.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Sue" Davisson; his son Michael Davisson of Clarksburg; his siblings, Denzil "Denny" Davisson (Jean), Marlena Ernest, Brenda Crayton and Maynard Davisson; his grandchildren, Zacharie, Nancy, Kayla, Megan, Caleb, Hunter, Cole, Braden, Brandon, Nick and Brian Davisson; and his daughter-in-law Amanda Davisson of Clarksburg. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
