Simons of Clarksburg, West Virginia, born in Lost Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Simons and Verna Root Simons; his wife Sandra Holt Simons; and his siblings, Dessie Fornash, James "Art" Simons, Rosie Plum, Thelma Shock, Emory Simons, Jack Simons, Martha Lough, Delores Krebs, Bill Simons and Leona Simons.
He is survived by: his children, Franklin E. Simons (Sylvia) of Taylor County, Cindy Mugnano (Tom) of Quiet Dell, Sandy Coleman of Clarksburg, David C. Simons (Roberta) of Clarksburg and Thomas "T. J." Simons (Amy) of Nutter Fort; his grandchildren, Carrie Robinson, Joshua Simons, Jeremy Simons (Lydia), Jonah Simons (Jessica), Ginny Hamrick (Rich), Michael Coleman (Kamala), Heather Hartley (Chris), David Coleman, Kyle Simons (Michele), Stacey Markley (Ryan), Joe Simons (Cecelia), Lura Simons, Ashley Campbell (Jordan) and Elise Moore (Jonathon); and his great grandchildren, Jacob Bice, Rylie Stutzman (Devon), Lance Hartley, Preston Hartley, Edie Hartley, Carina Robinson, Luke Simons, Lyla Simons, Nora, Corianna, Patrick, Eleanor Campbell, River Lee Simons, Jonathon, Silas, Juniper, Solomon Simons, Maisie Hamrick, Milliana and Madelyn Moore.
