He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Bob" Sherrill; and his sister Sharon Swiger. He is survived by: his mother Anna Lee Wagner (McNemar); his son Gary A. McNemar, Jr. (Carrie) of Pueblo West, CO; and his grandchildren, John Allen (Isabel), Tausha Johnson (Adam), Shawn Anthony McNemar (Stephenie), Brenton Matthew White (Cheyenne), Brian Lude and Corey McNemar. He is also survived by his mother and other family members.
