With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lee Nutter of Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on January 24, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Emory Nutter and Barbara Buffey Nutter; his brother-in-law William Sutton (Bill); and his friend David Romano. He is survived by: his children, Michael Nutter (Ashley) of Bridgeport and Nicole Bennett (Michael) of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Sara Comer of Clarksburg, Jake Comer of Clarksburg, Carson Bennett of Clarksburg, Nate Morrow and Nola Nutter of Bridgeport; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Mazzei of Johnson City, TN, Vicky Sutton of Punta Gorda, FL, Jimmy Funk (Rosanna) of Clarksburg and Steve Funk of Nutter Fort; and his cousins, Eddie, Jodie, Kim, Tracy and Dicky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
