He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold David Briggs Sr. and Verna Mae Nay Briggs; and his sister Deborah Bland. He is survived by: his sons, David Briggs (Katlin) of Clarksburg, Wayne Briggs (Victoria Littleton) of Clarksburg and Allen Briggs of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Hailie, Zoe, Mason, Noella and Ryker; and his siblings, Virginia Merriman, Buck and Hubert Claude Briggs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
