He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hunter and Eula Green Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Tamitha Dawn "Tammy" Hunter; his children, Kadisha Hunter (Tony Walker) of Indian Trail, NC, Fermin Hunter of Bronx, NY and Omar Thompson of Elmont, NY; his stepchildren, Thomas Lewis (Stephanie) and Jessica Caldwell (Chad); and his sister Gertrude Young. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A burial was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at the West Virginia National Cemetery (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301).
