He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Leo Eddy and Wilma Eddy Patrick (Harbert); his stepmother Helen Eddy; his half-siblings, Myrna Roscoe (Donnie) and Harry "Mac" Eddy; his stepfather Raymond "Slim" Patrick; his stepson-in-law Michael A. Duke Sr.; his stepgrandson Michael A. Duke Jr.; and the mother of his children Patty Eddy Manley.
He is survived by: his sons, David R. Eddy of Bridgeport and William M. Eddy (Elizabeth) of Quiet Dell; his stepdaughters, Alisa A. Duke of Clarksburg and Anita L. Sheets (Stephen) of Bridgeport; his grandson Chad M. Eddy (Sarah Straley-Yoos); his great grandchild Izzy of Good Hope; his grandchildren, Carrie E. Richards (Norman) of Troutman, NC and Nicholas A. Eddy (Brandi Post) of Clarksburg; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Patrick of Clarksburg and Shelby Patrick (Kacey Bence) of Clarksburg; his great grandchildren, Parker Eddy, Bentley Richards, Maverick Richards, Madilyn Richards and Elliana Eddy; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aria Chambers, Emma Patrick and Elsie Patrick.
