She was predeceased by: her son Jerry Hurst; her husband Harry "Sonny" Hurst; and her siblings, Jean Brinson, Judy Brinson and Melvin "Carl" Buck.
She is survived by: her siblings, Kay Lindon of Ohio, Steve Buck of Morehead City and Lawrence "Buddy" Buck (Linda) of Maryland. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
