He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Cooper and Edith Marie Post Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Sullivan Cooper; his children, Jonathan R. Cooper (Holly) of Bridgeport, Lindsey Cooper of Clarksburg, Kaitlin Ash (Collin) of Clarksburg and Karly Cooper of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Jillian Cooper, Roman, Lyla and Mia Ash; his brother James "Jimmy" Cooper (Molly) of Bridgeport; and his nieces and nephews, Joshua Cooper, Faith Cooper, Hannah McCall, Andie McCall, Lucy Cooper and Eliza Cooper. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
