He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie Ruth Collins Evans; and his brothers, Brian Evans, Mike Evans and David Lee Evans. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Kay Osborne Evans; his children, Shannon Evans Hogsten (David) of Clarksburg and Joe Evans (Tiffany) of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Teylor, Tony, Timmy and Alice; his great grandchildren, Daisy and Allison; and his siblings, Elena Ray Sandy (Charles), Billy Evans, St Albans and Steve Evans. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
