He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Joseph Stumpo and Patricia Arbogast Caputo; his siblings, Lewis Anthony Stumpo and Deborah Stumpo Moneypenny; his siblings-in-law, Jim Moneypenny and Linda White Stumpo; and his niece Tina Nicole Stumpo.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rosalee Summers; his children, Michael Patrick Stumpo II of Pasadena, MD, Catherine Marie McVaney (Justin) of Elizabethtown, KY and Krista Sharma (Rakesh) of Silver Spring, MD; his grandchildren, Nathan, Kavi Sharma, Lauren, Jeffery Michael McVaney and Gabriella Stumpo; his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Stumpo of California, Robert Caputo of Stonewood, Anthony "Tony" Caputo of Florida, Donna Stumpo of Bridgeport and Mary Caputo Mells of Florida; his brother-in-law Thomas Summers; his aunt Joann Stumpo Oliverio; and his nieces, Traci Terango (Joe Pat), Jennifer Duarte (Scott) and Amy Moneypenny.
