He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lee Franklin and Betty James Compton Franklin; and his siblings, Tom Franklin and Bessie Kopacko. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Avis Franklin; his daughters, Yvette Schauler Franklin (Harold) of Germany and Brandy Franklin of Clarksburg; his stepdaughter Inga Stangroom (Kevin) of Roscoe, PA; his grandchildren, Paige, Zoey, Alexis, Louis, Cole and Arianna; and his sister Carolyn Guthrie.
