He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Hartsell Ringer; his children, Tamra Ringer of Gaithersburg, MD, Deborah Stewart (Adam) of Greenville, SC and Robert Ringer, Jr. (Susan); his grandchildren, Joshua Greaser, Maria Smith, Shelby Ferrell, Nate Ferrell, Violet Stewart, Silas Ringer and Delilah Ringer; and his great grandchildren, Dominic Smith and Dylan Dirende.
