He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Sunny" Knight and Virginia May Utt Grillbortzer; and his sister Violet Marie Knight Miller. He is survived by: his caregiver Ruth Bonner of Clarksburg; his children, Roy Knight Jr. (Tammy) of Manassas, Virginia, Jeanine Ruppel (Keith) of Haymarket, Lisa Haney of Orlando, Amanda Kapps (Alex) of Palouse, Washington and Kenneth Knight (Ericka) of Rockledge, Florida; and his siblings, William Knight of Martinsburg, Ellen Baldwin of Alexandria, Patricia Knight of North Point and Lisa Billings of Manassas, Virginia.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
