It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Darlene Wright of Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Bennett and Clara Kinney Bennett; her husband Gerald "Jerry" Allen Wright; and her daughter Tina Wright. She is survived by: her children, Gerald "Butch" Wright II (Jill) of Gallipolis, OH and Kimberly "Susie" Mellie (Robert) of Clarksburg; her grandchildren, Jessica White, Kristin Hudkins (Rezin), Nicholas Wright (Hattie), Camryn Oldaker (Kaleb), Spencer Mellie, Brooke Clutter (Travis) and Noel Shaver (Joe); her great grandchildren, Hayden, Lucas, Keegan, Tripp, Riley and Asher; and her sister Virginia "Widge" Skinner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
