We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2023, at the age of 86, Shirley L. Smith of Clarksburg, West Virginia, born in Hundred, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester D. Hostutler and Ethel Mae Hixenbaugh Hostutler; her former husband John W. Smith; and her siblings, Lorene Morris, Nelda Masters, June Hostutler, Harold Hostutler, Garold Hostutler, Jearold Hostutler and Chester C. Hostutler.
She is survived by: her children, John W. Smith, Jr. of Hepzibah, David R. Smith of Jacksonburg, Julie Smith of New Matamoras and Amy Grotegeer of Zanesville, Ohio; and her sisters, Marlene Evans of New Manchester and Carol Smith of New Cumberland. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
