He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Irwin and Lovie Marie Ingram Lowther; his daughter Pamela Kay Lowther; his son-in-law Daniel Barnes; and his siblings, John Lowther, Frank Lowther, Alice Lucille Watson, Dorothy "Jean" Griffin and Margaret Weil.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ilene Ash Lowther; his children, Cindi L Barnes, Stanley M "Marty" Lowther Jr. (Dawn) and Benjamin Douglas "Ben" Lowther (Lindsey); and his grandchildren, Lyndsie Marie Barnes, Megan Danielle Barnes, Breckyn Paige Lowther and Brysen Kendrick Lowther. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
