He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Amos and Willa Hammond Amos. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Beverlin Amos; his stepchildren, J. R. Boyce (Lynn) of Salem, Melissa Boyce of Grafton and Kirk Boyce (Muriel) of Wolf Summit; and his niece Amanda. He is also survived by six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
