It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia C Higbee of Clarksburg, West Virginia, born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Leon Stabler. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Higbee, Sr.; her daughters, Sharon Attenbrunn (David) and Kristina Ditzel (Robert Ditzel, Sr); her stepchildren, Michele Hoffman, Sherri Clark (John Orlando) and Stephen Higbee, Jr.; her grandchildren, Joseph Attenbrunn-Bay (CP Bay), Jeffrey Attenbrunn (Hadley Irvin), Robert Ditzel, Jeremy Ditzel, Lee Stabler, Michael Hoffman, Jr., David Hoffman, Cassidy Clark, Cameron Clark, Aaron Higbee and Brandon Higbee; and her close friend Kathy Chiappisi. She is also survived by four great granddaughters and one great grandson; and eight siblings.
