He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clayton Gill and Mary Fox Gill Spence; and his siblings, Sharon Watson, John Gill, Ronnie Gill, Donnie Gill and Kevin Gill.
He is survived by: his wife Stacey Lynn Rohn Gill; and his siblings, Robert Andrews (Debra), Tom Gill, David Gill, Grafton of Charles Gill, NC and Mary G Garrison. He is also survived by four children; two stepchildren; several grandchildren and step grandchildren.
