He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Joseph Hurst, Jr. and Josephine Louise Shaffer Hurst; and his siblings, Miletus "Jack" Jackson Hurst and David Hurst. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary JoAnn Johnson of Cleveland, OH and Elsie Hurst of Cleveland, OH; and his cousin Charlene Cochran of Clarksburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the TBD Davis Funeral Home (124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301).
