He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lipscomb and Ethel Bell Richards Lipscomb; his daughter Jessica Bella Williams; and his siblings, Catherine Geraldine Riblett, Francine Lipscomb, Raymond Lipscomb, Garland Lee Lipscomb and Leoma Carlyle.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue McGary Lipscomb; his sons, William Henry Lipscomb (Jennifer), James Eddie Lipscomb (Sarah) and John Curtis Lipscomb (Cyndi); his grandchildren, William "Andy" Haley of James, Karen, Abigail, David, Chris, Alexandrea and Austin; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Nevaeh, Ida and Brendalynn; and his siblings, Shirley Marks, Bernard Lipscomb, Glenda, Sharon Gill, Jim of Dayton, VA, Patricia Rogers of Locust Grove, VA, Henry "Eugene" Lipscomb, Curtis Lipscomb and Lori. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
