With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Meredith of Clarksburg, West Virginia, born in Bristol, West Virginia, who passed away on August 17, 2021 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lafayette and Maxine June Meredith (McIntyre); his father-in-law E. Wayne Devericks; and his sister-in-law Pam Meredith. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lynn Meredith (Devericks); his daughter Amy E. Lucas (Mitchell) of Salem; his stepsons, Shawn Wayne Shingleton (Tabitha Scott) of Spelter and Christopher Alan Shingleton; his grandchildren, Chase, Chris, Andrew, Kyler and Lakota; his brother Mark Meredith of Salem; his mother-in-law Frances Lorena Swentzel; and his cousins, Jimmy, Mary Ann Shaver, Clarice Shaver, Joe Delong, Larry Meredith, Linda Kay Bladen and Debbie Englander. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
